Art Talk: Texture Show @ Liz Lidgett Gallery & Design

Wondeful Texture Photography

I'm super excited to be a part of Liz Lidgett Gallery & Design art show... all about TEXTURE!

The opening reception was Friday, January 31st, 2020 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Three pieces of my Abstract/Texture collection are being featured along with the work of several other talented artists!

Art work is more than just a cool piece hanging on the wall or displayed on a shelf...

It provides comfort and ambience where people tend to feel a warm welcome and want to keep coming back to your home, office, restaurant, hotel or other type of commercial setting.

The artwork you invest in is also certainly part of your personal or business brand that provides part of the experience you offer as a human being.

It's all intertwined with who we are, what we get to create, and the gifts we offer in this life.

Art is for everyone.

No matter if it's a piece you found in an ally on your way home from work.. A gem you found along your travels.....or in an 'art gallery in Des Moines' .. (wink) or if it's a million dollar collector's item.

Art is an investment for more than just you.

It's also about making people 'feel at home'..

Creating an experience for whomever is graced by the presence of design..

and for allowing yourself to relish in the energy of someone else's passion that they so thoughtfully created.. just for you.. (and for those you choose to share it with).
